Dell to Increase Its Purchasing in China to USD23b
China Trading News reports:
The PC maker is expected to buy components worth of USD 29 billion from Chinese producers in 2009, boosting its total purchase in 2007-2009 period to about USD 70 billion. It bought components valued at USD 18 billion in 2007, added the CEO.
Dell is anticipated to contribute more than USD 50 billion to China's gross domestic product (GDP) via its direct and indirect businesses and provide nearly 2 million jobs in the nation in 2008, said the US company
